3. Second Comer - Rent Begins

The next comer has to be content with the three-tree section.
(This now becomes the margin of production.) On this land, three
bushels are the reward for one day's labor.
These two people do the same work, yet one gets four bushels
and the other only three. Why? Because of the difference in the
land. Since the best land is superior by one bushel, its rent is
one. Wages are three on both lands.
OK, I guess I'll take the 2-tree land. |
